The Castle Thief

"Run Annie, run! The castle is under attack!"
"Who's that? Who's there?" It was Bill, her Dad's best kight and most trusted guard.
"Bill, you're here!"
"Yes." said Bill, "We have to move fast, Annie, the castle is falling to the enemy, let's get out!"
''Wait! My father...'' Annie started.
''He is fighting now, but he wants me to get you to safety! Let's go!"
"Ok." Annie agreed.
So they went to Bill's city and then to his house. All the people there loved Annie.
"We'll leave in the morning.'' Bill said to her one day.
"Leave where?" asked Annie.
''I don't know but the army will track us down here. We need to find another army to fight back."
The next morning they set off to find an army that was friends of their kingdom. They went to so many places and finally found one in Noman's Land. At first the army would not agree to do it until Annie said, ''I guess my father's castle will just fall down then."
''Wait," the commander said,"You're the princess?"
"Yup! And if you fight for us, my father will give you a big reward!" Annie smiled.
"Then we will fight!"
"Thank you."
They joined forces with the king's smaller army and fought the criminals who had stolen the castle.
They won of course!

A Good Birthday

Once there was a little boy. It was his birthday and he was turning five. His family went to the zoo for his birthday.
But everything that could go wrong, went wrong! The tiger scraped him, the hippo splashed him, the zebra kicked him and the snake bit him!
They went home and his mom and sister baked him a big cake and blew up balloons. He loved it. His dad was away and he was not coming home for a week, but he came home RIGHT THEN!
His dad laughed and said, "I came home for your birthday!"
"This is e best birthday ever!" The little boy hugged his dad.

The Garbage Boy

One day there was a little boy named Jack.
Everybody thought that he was a nerd, just because his dad was a garbage man and they thought that Jack's dad was no good to them. Jack thought that his dad was really special.
Jack went to see his dad every day after school and helped his dad do the garbage.
Ond day, some boys from Jack's classroom came to the dump and they told Jack's dad that he was a loser and that day, the dad felt like quitting but nobody that worked at the dump wanted him to leave. He was the best worker.
Right before the dad was going to quit, the boy said, "Dad, I think you have the coolest job in the world. You can't quit! When I grow up, I want to have the same job as you! The reason I love your job is because I find cool stuff and you fix it! You can't quit!"
All the other boys said sorry. Then the boys helped Jack's dad too!
The boys said, "Your dad does have the coolest job in the world."
Then the boys begged their dads to have the garbage job. So, their dads got a garbage job too.

The Bird Wars

Once there was a hawk and lots of other birds: Ducks, ducklings, crows and more. The hawk was trying to get the other birds. The hawk called the other hawks. The other birds heard the hawks and started to fly. The hawks flew after them. The moms and dads tried to protect their babies and they soon were in war.
All of the sudden, a lot of eagles flew in and the hawks started to fight the eagles instead, and the eagles fought and fought until the eagles won and there 2 hawks left and they flew away.
All the birds said, "Thank you!"
Then the eagles flew away.

A Farmer's Love

Once there was a farmer. That farmer loved his animals, but one day the farmer had a little surprise. A FARM THIEF. The thief stole one of each animal, and the farmer's best ones too. So the farmer went searching for his animals.
He searched his whole town. He found his chicken and his goat, but still no dog. The dog really got dog-napped. The dog usually came to the sound of his whistle, so the farmer whistled. The farmer looked behind his house and all his family was there - and his dog was too! When he heard the whistle, he had escaped from the dog-nappers!!
The farmer ran to the dog and the dog ran to the farmer.
"Yes!! I found you, YES!!"

Praying for Houses

Yesterday we prayed for 35 houses and we walked! It was soooo fun! We are going to pray for the houses and go on the walk every month for a year! It's going to be sooooo fun! We pray for town houses and lots of other houses. I can't wait to do our next time we go on a walk.
Guess what?
There was a trap in front of a guy's house. The guy said it is for skunks! There is a family of skunks living under his porch!!!
We had a really good time praying for houses. I even prayed for 2 of my friends.

our vacation

On our way back from our vacation my mom had to have a playdate with here friend. There

was lots of hay. And we found a snake. We got to hold it. I loved it we had the perfect trip.

going to coombs

Yesterday we went to Coombs. Grampsie had to stay home & help the guy do their drawers for their new kitchen. I wish he would have come!! Guess what we got at Coombs? I got a wooden sword. It is really cool. It has rope all around the handle. It was more money than the usual swords. I also got a mini wooden dagger. And we got BIG scoops of ice cream. The thing that was bad about it is that we had to drive 2 hours to get there and 3 hours back (because we stopped at a beach).

I saw millions of crabs. Under 1 stone, I bet I saw 100!! I captured them in shells & then closed them up & showed my mom.

on my birthday

I was excited to turn 8 because in my family when someone turns 8 they get their bank account! I just got mine.

First off on my birthday when I just woke up, Cairo brought me breakfast in bed. There were eggs, 8 strawberries, a latte and oatmeal. Next off, when Mollen came home from school we all teamed up and did a big scavenger hunt then just ME, I did a treasure hunt. There were money and gummy bears at every clue. I had to share the gummy bears, but not the money. They knew that I would take my money up to my bed so they hid something under my blankets... It was a SCOOTER!!!!! But, it broke. My mom & dad returned it & got a different one. This one is WAY better. Do you know why? It shoots sparks out the back. Real live sparks! I ride it lots of times.

Then, my last clue on my treasure hunt said: Go ask Dad what to do next. When I went to ask dad, he said, "It's almost time to go bowling!"

Guess what's weird in bowling that me & Sloan did? We went: 0, 0, 0 on our first try THEN on our second try we went 0, 0, 0 AGAIN but then on our third & fourth tries, we got strikes! It was SO much fun going bowling. When we got home, we had a big pizza party. AND ice cream cake.

It was an awesome birthday. I like being 8.

My Trip to BC

A couple of days ago, my dad had to go on a field trip so he dropped of me (Charter), Mollen and my big sister at my grandma and grandpa's house. They walk EVERYWHERE! We walked even to Dairy Queen. We got ice cream. It was a dipped cone. My cousins were there also.
Speaking of cousins, in 3 weeks all of us are going to my other cousins house. They want me and Peyton to put on a karate show! We are going to do it! We are just going to figure out what karate moves to do for it.
Karate is tomorrow, so we will know more moves.

I will tell you how far I went because the contest is OVER!
I jumped 17 feet and 7 inches. My mom measured with a measuring tape. I might have other contests, but the next one will probably be easier.

when Ephraim was born

140 pokemon

I was going to bid on 140 Pokemon, but my mom said, "tomorrow". Today IS tomorrow! So I might bid on it.
I bid on 14 Pokemon, but my mom did not tell me that the Pokemon are 3cm tall and the 140 Pokemon are little too, but I can get them for $1 for all of them and Peyton and Mollen get all of the Pokemon that I do not want so they will be happy too. Mollen is bidding on a Pokeball. I am bidding on 14 Pokemon for $1. Not each though. If it was, it would be fourteen dollars!! And for the 140 Pokemon it would be $140!! But it is not, so that is good that it is not!!

journal entry

Caleb came yesterday. I taught him how to beat Poptropica. We had so much fun. We threw balls at each other. Just when he left, me and my dad went to the driving range. At the driving range, I hit 120 yards. Then we had tacos for supper. They were sooooooo good!
Me and Peyton are going to get our Gis for Karate. When you get past your black belt you change into a read Karate Gi. It looks SO COOL! I cannot wait to get it. I practice Karate LOTS.
Gis look so warm. I cannot wait to put mine on. Peyton's friend is driving us back, but my dad is driving us there. Karate is so much fun. We have to work hard, but it is still awesome.
Do you know what else is awesome? My family. My mom and dad and brothers and sisters!

Getting our gi's

I went to Karate yesterday. I learned how escape from enemies trying to capture me. And, if someone's poking me,
I know what to do.
You grab onto their finger. Your pinky goes at the bottom and your thumb goes at the top. Then you twist it backwards. It hurts the enemy. Really badly.
I can't wait till I'm a different belt.
We had to change in the bathrooms. It was kind of embarrassing.

All about Pokemon

Pikachu is going to get beat up by Raichu in the first round. In the second round, Pikachu is going to defeat Raichu. Lots of Pokemon got beat up by Raichu. Raichu is what Pikachu turns INTO.
Ash is Picachu's trainer and Ash is going to catch Squirtel. I pretend I am Ash and I am going to get Squirtel so I will be more like Ash. I make my pokemon fight together.
I make Pikachu win.
